Hi, I'm Kate. Oh, did you want to know more than that?

I like books, a lot. I love reading books, and listening to audio books, and I love writing books too.

I must be immature or something, because my favorite books to read and write are young adult. I do sometimes read old adult books, and may decide to write one at some point in the future, but at present my writing is all YA.

My first novel, Counting to D, is being published by Elliott Books and is scheduled to hit a bookstore near you in March of 2014. As that date approaches, I'll give you lots more details. My second novel, The Evolution of Emily, is also being published by Elliott Books and is coming out in October of 2014. 2014 is going to be a big year for me.

I tend to spend most of my time living in my head. But my body resides in Portland, Oregon. I live there with my very cute husband. And hopefully soon I'll have some very cute children to add to the mix, because we're adopting. Yay!
